Sereia is a study for my poem of the same name, to appear in The Purpose of Reality (Meerkat Press, 2022). No sea creatures were harmed in the making of this artwork. In fact, it’s mostly Vegemite.™ Australians don’t just eat it, they paint the walls with it too. I do, anyway. (Click image for larger version.)

The artwork was evolved with the visual evolution engine (VEE), my software that seeks unexpected realms, rather than using standard AI techniques to mimic existing art. Cyclic nonlinear desaturation (CYNDE) was used in the evolution.
